JARED GILLETT

Jared Gillett graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York City with his masters in Painting in 2003; prior to that he received his BFA from Utah State. He now lives and paints in Springfield, MO. He has participated in shows in New York City, Santa Fe, and Salt Lake City, and he has been an Obelisk Home gallery artist since 2015. He continually paints a variety of subjects that interest him although it’s often lighting he finds most inspiring. He also paints commissioned portraits of people, pets, and landscapes. “Happiness is in the paint.”
