JANE TROUP
Jane Troup is an award-winning, published artist living and working out of Springfield, MO. She received her BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore in 2002, and also attended the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC in 1977. She finds inspiration for her paintings from the natural environment but also inflects her own imaginative and Surrealist spin on the landscape, citing René Magritte and Henri Rousseau as influences.
“There are moments during walks through field and woods when I feel connected to all things. I strive to put that idea into my work.” – Jane Troup
