For this reason, we encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions whenever you purchase product from us or use ObeliskHome.com. You will receive an order confirmation immediately upon processing your order. Please check details of your order carefully to insure complete accuracy and notify our customer service at 417-799-2544 of any changes within 24 hours. If you wish to make a change or cancel an item from your order we must be notified immediately. You will receive an email confirmation of the change. Any change to an order after the product has been shipped may result in a restocking fee and additional freight expense. Note that your credit card will be charged at the time of checkout for all items in your shopping cart. If you receive notice from our customer service department that an item on your order is backordered beyond the estimated lead time noted in the item description, you can opt to cancel the order and your card will be refunded provided the item can be cancelled with our supplier.
SECURE PAYMENT OPTIONS
You may pay for your purchase at obeliskhome.com via our secure shopping cart using VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. All credit card transactions and confidential information are verified and protected by Stripe, one of the industry leaders in SSL encryption. Placing an order through our shopping cart is as secure as ordering by phone, but we realize that sometimes you may have questions and want to speak to a real person. Please call our customer service number at 417-799-2544 Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am – 5 pm CST. If we are assisting other customers or if it is after hours, please leave a detailed message and we will return the call as soon as possible.
SALES TAX POLICY
Obelisk Home, LLC is registered in the State of Missouri and is responsible for collecting 8.1% state sales tax on all orders shipped within the state of Missouri. Our shopping cart will automatically calculate this tax on all orders shipped within the state of Missouri. All states, with the exception of Missouri, are exempt from sales tax.
CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES
If you wish to cancel or change your order in any way, the request must be made in writing via email at firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours from the date the order was placed. If you cancel or change an order that has already been shipped, all shipping costs (including original shipping costs and return shipping to Obelisk Home) will be at your expense. A 25% restocking fee will also apply. SHIPPING INFORMATION PLEASE NOTE: WE SHIP ONLY WITHIN THE 48 CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES
Obelisk Home currently offers FREE Standard Shipping on all orders over $50 placed through ObeliskHome.com and shipped within the 48 contiguous states. This promotion does not apply to purchases made in our retail store in Springfield, Missouri. Shipping can be arranged for addresses outside the contiguous 48 states by contacting our customer service department by email at email@example.com or by calling 417-799-2544. Applicable shipping charges will apply.
ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME OF YOUR PURCHASE
You can find an estimate as to when an item will leave the warehouse specified on each product page on the Shipping tab. It is important to note this is an estimate only and cannot be guaranteed by Obelisk Home. Occasionally issues arise that are beyond our control that may lead to additional production and/or delivery time, such as our manufacturers experiencing a backup in production or weather issues which can affect transportation and delivery. Please note that items on our website are warehoused in multiple locations and have varying lead times so your order of multiple items may arrive via different deliveries and on different dates. Obelisk Home ships most products via FedEx ground service. You should allow 3 to 7 business days for receipt of your order once it leaves the warehouse. It is important to note that once a piece leaves the warehouse, the remaining shipping time is beyond our control. We always strive to ensure merchandise is transported safely to you, and although this process most often proceeds smoothly, delays and damages may be caused by the freight company. Obelisk Home will do our absolute best to assist in getting your product to you in a timely manner and in good condition and will notify you immediately if we are made aware of any expected delays or problems. It is essential that you inspect all items very carefully immediately upon receipt and DO NOT sign for your piece if you suspect any damage.
EXPEDITED AND EXPRESS DELIVERY
We always strive to ship your purchase as quickly as possible, but we also realize that there are design emergencies when you just have to have something immediately. Please contact our customer service department by phone at 417-799-2544 if expedited shipment or express delivery are needed prior to placing your order. However not all products are available for immediate shipment so these requests must be handled by phone only. Express delivery service when available will result in additional shipping cost and expedited processing fees may also apply.
FedEx does not deliver to US PO Boxes or APO/FPO military addresses. Please include a suitable physical address for your shipment.
HOW TO RECEIVE YOUR SHIPMENT
Obelisk Home and our vendor partners take great care in packaging each product to ensure safe transport to your home. Although these items are packaged properly, in some instances transit-related damage may occur. It is imperative that you inspect your order carefully when it arrives. Take the time to note any damage to your merchandise and to the packing materials on the delivery receipt. Do not sign the shipping documents without recording details of transit damage.
IF YOUR SHIPMENT ARRIVES DAMAGED
If upon receiving your delivery from Obelisk Home, you notice that a package has visible damage it is recommended that you inspect your purchase before signing for the delivery. Note any damage of the product to the FedEx driver prior to signing for receipt. Contact our customer service department immediately at 417-799-2544 so that we may file a freight claim and get your purchase replaced as quickly as possible. Please help us with the claims process by photographing the damage and the packaging, and emailing the photos to firstname.lastname@example.org. Our customer service department will process a return authorization for the damaged item which will need to be repackaged in the original box and returned to the address on the return authorization. If you fail to report concealed or obvious freight damage to the carrier prior to signing for the shipment, neither you nor we have any recourse.
CHARACTERISTICS OF OUR PRODUCTS
Obelisk Home products are produced by skilled artisans around the world and are generally made by hand. Slight variations in size, color, finish and texture are hallmarks of handmade product and are not to be considered as defects. Additionally, many items are crafted from natural materials including wood, stone, metals and various fibers which have natural variations that add to the beauty and uniqueness of the product. These variations should be expected and are not seen as defects.
Obelisk Home accepts returns for any item that is found upon receipt to be defective in material or workmanship. You must notify our customer service department within 48 hours of any defect for a return authorization. Items must be returned in their original packaging in unused condition. You will receive a replacement of the same product within 30 days that Obelisk Home receives the return and deems it to be defective. We must receive notification of any defect within 48 hours of receipt and photos of the defect may be required to process a return authorization. Soiled or used items will be refused and returned to you at your expense. DEFECTIVE PRODUCT MAY ONLY BE RETURNED FOR REPLACEMENT AND NOT FOR REFUND. Returns that are found to be free of defect in material or workmanship will incur a 25% restocking fee as well any shipping charges incurred by Obelisk Home. Refunds are issued in the original payment form and price, less shipping and handling, re-stocking fees and return shipping charges. Standard shipping charges will apply for all non-defective items including merchandise that may have been shipped during a “free shipping” promotion. Please note that items shipped back to us without a return authorization number issued by our customer service department will not be accepted and will be returned to you.
We will process any applicable refund in the same form of payment as was used for the original purchase within 15 days of receiving your return. All returns must be received in their original packaging and are subject to inspection before any refund will be processed. Shipping charges and restocking fees in accordance with our Terms and Conditions will be deducted from the refund amount issued.
Obelisk Home warrants to the original purchaser all products to be free of defect in material and workmanship. Please be aware that certain variations in size, color, finish and texture are hallmarks of handmade product and product produced from natural materials and are not considered defect. Obelisk Home is an authorized retailer of the products on our website and not the manufacturer therefore we are restricted to the warrantees and policies set forth by the manufacturer of the product. Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, improper use, abuse, neglect, lack of preventive maintenance, improper installation or other end-user induced problems. No warranty is given or implied for durability of use or longevity as use conditions vary greatly. Obelisk Home shall be held harmless from all damages and injury resulting from the use of our products.
DATA ACCURACY DISCLAIMER
Obelisk Home makes every reasonable effort to ensure the accuracy, correctness and reliability of the content represented on our site, but we make no representations or warranties as to the site’s accuracy, correctness or reliability. Obelisk Home reserves the right to correct improperly priced items at any time. In the event an improperly priced item is discovered after credit card processing, Obelisk Home will promptly void the sale, issue a refund via the same method used to purchase the item, and give the customer an opportunity to purchase the item at its proper price.
While we make every effort to provide images with as much color accuracy as possible, it must be understood that every computer monitor displays color differently. We cannot be responsible for variations in the actual color of the product and how it is displayed on your computer monitor.
