Project Description

Objective

Living Room
Starting with a blank canvas, our client wanted us to create a classic, yet fresh formal living room that would stand up to the test of time. We installed new hardwood floors through-out and removed the built-in cabinets that were on either side of the original fireplace to create a new but classic stone fireplace that didn’t get lost on the open soaring wall.  The space needed to be brought in, and fireplace accomplished just that. Best of all it was designed and built locally. Each piece has the ability to stand alone, yet combined, pulls together an open airy classic space.

Hearth Room
Our challenge was to create a blended usable space utilizing the existing sectional and ottoman.
We relocated the television from the south wall to above the stone fireplace to allow the room to open up, increase seating and create a focal point that was not the fireplace. The original sectional was moved to the family’s basement living room and the leather chesterfield sofa was moved up to allow fabric additions.  New chairs, classic navy chest, side board, accessories, re-upholstered ottoman, lighting and the most lovely mohair floor pillows we’re all incorporated. These additions made the hearth room, kitchen and breakfast room feel cohesive and family friendly.
